SYRACUSE, NY- New SU tennis coach is ready to put the balls on the court and create a winning program and perennial big east contender on the hill. In his first press conference Monday, he also stated the need to bring “sexy back” to the SU tennis program. “If you look at where the pro game is at, 7 out of the top ten ranked women’s players are hotties! We need to get some hot ass college chicks up here that have the ability to compete at the division 1 level. No longer are the days of Navratilova, Billie Jean King. Sharapova and and Kournakova is what tennis is about now.”
Jensen, a former pro tennis player who won a Wimbledon title, is trying to bring an upstate New York basketball and football town to appreciate good women’s tennis. “I know trying to sell women’s sports is tough, believe me it’s difficult to sit through a women’s college basketball game. But if we have hot chicks hitting balls to each other, people will come out.”
